Voluma
Juvéderm Voluma XC is also a hyaluronic acid filler, but it is formulated to be much thicker and sturdier than standard Juvéderm. It is designed to be injected deeper into the face to lift and add volume to the cheeks and mid-face.

Sculptra
Sculptra is made of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). Instead of acting as a gel that physically fills space, it works like a fertilizer: injected deep into the skin, it prompts your body to produce its own collagen.

Treatment
Most fillers contain a numbing agent, and a topical numbing cream can be applied first. Treatment usually takes 30 to 60 minutes.
Aftercare
Mild swelling, tenderness and bruising are common for a few days. Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol and pressure on the treated areas for about 24 hours.
Results
Hyaluronic acid fillers show results right away, with the final look settling over about two weeks as swelling fades. Sculptra results build gradually over several months.
