• Chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and photofacials are frequently used to further enhance the appearance of these problems.

• Injectable agents (such as Juvéderm™, Restylane™, Sculptra®, and Cosmoplast®) can be used to replace lost volume, smooth irregular contours, address asymmetries, and even stimulate new collagen formation.

• Botox® injections serve to inhibit active wrinkle formation and, through repeated injection, can prevent new wrinkles from forming over time.

• Laser procedures, such as fractional CO2 resurfacing (Lumenis® FX) is considered the gold standard for correcting fine lines & wrinkles. Additionally, this laser procedure tightens lax skin, eliminates pigmented spots and superficial dilated vessels, and gives the skin an overall improved tone and consistency.

• In the most severe form, wrinkles and skin folds may need to be addressed through traditional plastic surgery in the form of a blepharoplasty (eye-lift) or rhytidectomy (face lift).
